Abstract: This chapter provides an overview of the US West
        TeleCollaboration project. The emphasis is on
        supporting day-to-day interaction among individuals,
        especially informal, spontaneous interaction.
        Motivation, technical infrastructure, and lessons
        learnt are provided. A good sequel to Xerox's
        Portland experiment.
