Abstract: This is a report on a project to explore ideas for
        a distributed system that: enhances convenient and
        effective communication; gives information about
        each other's status and whereabouts; supports people
        in planning and execution of various kinds of office
        tasks.  Architectural and user interface issues are
        discussed.
