Abstract: This paper is an overview of the Groupware Project
        at MCC. The goals and design philosophy of three
        prototype systems are presented, including:
        highlights of past work on Project Nick; a summary
        of key findings from an extensive empirical study of
        Project Nick; and brief descriptions of HyperMate,
        Liza, and Grove.
