- 概要
- Technology changes the way people within a group
behave. Lea and Spears discuss how computer-mediated
communication affects deindividuation, the anonymity
and loss of identity that occurs when people are
submerged in a group. If deindividuation does exist,
we would expect the social norms and constraints of
people's behaviour to be weakened, which would have
serious consequences on how decisions made by the
group should be interpreted. The authors question
past findings on how electronic communication
changes the group's psychological states, and then
present their own study and alternate view of the
role of deindividuation.
