- 概要
- This paper extends Grudin's 1988 study on why CSCW
applications fail. In particular, failure occurs
even when: there are no asymmetries between those
who benefit from an application and those who do
extra work; and decision makers do not confuse their
own personal benefits with the collective benefit.
The authors argue that failure may also be due to
interdependence in the payoffs derived, where
payoffs to one user may depend on the behaviour of
others.
