Abstract: A specific example of co-authorship is the joint
        planning, writing, and submission of research
        proposals to funding agencies. In the paper world,
        the document will include scotch-taped text,
        figures, tables, notes, and so on. The NSF EXPRESS
        email system supports this model by allowing
        co-authors to bundle together text, outlines,
        graphics, and spreadsheets into a single electronic
        document.
