E. RennisonのGalaxy of Newsは， ニュース記事を空間的に表示するシステムで， 空間的に配置されたキーワードにズームしていくと， 徐々に関連記事のヘッドライン，さらにその内容が表示される． また，関連する記事間には自動的にリンクが張られ， ある記事にズームするとその周辺に関連記事が その関連度に応じて表示される． (小池氏の bit別冊記事)

The Galaxy of News system creates a semantic space of news stories whose visual structure is not fixed, but changed as the user moves. The user sees an arrangement of words derived from the news stories Zooming in on a particular word causes other words, representing finer classifications of the story, to appear. The zooms towards the relevant word, and yet more words appear. Words previously rejected may appear in tne context of words now selected, taking on new, nuanced meanings.
